Known as the Adventure Bowhunter, Tom Miranda has had a long television career bowhunting around the globe. Tom grew up as a trapper, a hobby that evolved into a passion after high school. Picking up bowhunting in his mid 20’s Miranda began making bowhunting videos which eventually led to a TV series in 1990 titled Outdoor Adventure Magazine. The series was well liked and soon airing on ESPN’s Total Sports Network. Back in the early 2000’s after several trips to South Africa, Tom Miranda began to see that many of the outfitters were not set up to accommodate the close shooting required for archery hunters on wild African big game.

Professional hunter and outfitter, Jaco Oosthuizen, is a founder member of GAME TRACKERS AFRICA SAFARIS CC, which is currently the marketing agent for PORI TRACKERS OF AFRICA (T) Ltd, ONDJAMBA SAFARIS cc and AFRICAN LEGACY SAFARIS LLC. These four companies, both owned and operated under the professional guidance of Jaco himself, operate respectively in Southern & East Africa (Tanzania) in order to cater for their clients respective and specific needs.
ONDJAMBA SAFARIS was originally established in the late 90’s as the result of a lifelong dream. Ondjamba which means Elephant, originates from the Himba tribe, which roams in the north western parts of Namibia.
